2008 Tapachula Mission Trip

A team of women from Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Houston, TX are going to Tapachula, Mexico, to do mission work with children and some of their mothers who live in prison. This is the fifth year that a women's group has worked here. We have found that our lives are blessed by this experience, and we learn new things from these children each time we are here.

We will miss these sweet children

The children all gathered at the boys’ home to bid us goodbye. They had wonderfully sweet things to say to us which just makes leaving that much harder! They talked about the fun things we did while there and how much they looked forward to our visit next year. They said a prayer around us and then we began telling them all goodbye.
